All ages (Convention & Competition) will be determined as of September 1st, 2026. For example, if a dancer turns 13 on September 6th, 2026, they would register for the Mini/Junior Room.

Dancers will be divided into levels based on age and/or studio owner discretion and with approval from the 1820 Dance Ltd. Directors, dancers may be registered in a different level than indicated in the guidelines.

Studio Entries: Dancers are encouraged to register through their home studio. Studios will be provided with registration forms to be submitted to 1820 Dance Ltd. along with all relevant information and a cheque or e-transfer no later than the deadlines listed below.

Independent Entries: If you’re not registering through your home studio, you can register at any time using the appropriate link below.

If you’re registering online or as an independent entry, the registration fee must be paid in Canadian Dollars and is payable through our online registration platform (PayPal).

Dancers registering through their home studio, will be provided with an alternative manner of payment.

All registration payments (convention and competition) are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless the event is cancelled by the event organizers (ie: government restrictions, natural disaster etc.). At which point, refunds will be made within 14 days (minus PayPal processing fee). There will be no refunds in the event the attendee cancels or if the dancer is unable to attend.

Dancers must registered for at least one day of the convention in order to participate.

The competition is limited to solo/duets/trios only. There’s no limit on registration per dancer

Solos - $65/per solo.

Duets & Trios - $50/per routine.

Please note, dancers must be registered for at least one day of the convention in order to participate.

Dancers are encouraged to register through their home studio. However, we will also be accepting independent registrations.

Please note - your studio may add an additional charge on top of what we’ve listed on our website to help offset their time and administrative costs. This is very common practice in the industry.
